1. Company Overview
BeaconBytes.in is a retail platform engaged in the sale of computer components, peripherals, and accessories. We source both domestic and imported products. While we are not the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), we ensure all products are tested and dispatched in working condition unless otherwise stated.
2. Product Listings & Pricing
- All product descriptions, images, and specifications are intended to be accurate to the best of our ability. However, minor deviations, typographical errors, or manufacturer changes may occur, and we reserve the right to correct such inaccuracies without prior notice.
- Prices listed are subject to change without prior notification. An item placed in the shopping cart may reflect a different price during checkout if the price was updated in the interim.
3. Imported Products & Warranty
- Many of the products available on BeaconBytes.in are imported and do not carry a manufacturer’s warranty within India.
- To support our customers, BeaconBytes offers a complimentary 3-month limited courtesy warranty for such products from the date of delivery. This is not equivalent to a manufacturer’s warranty.
- The courtesy warranty covers only select types of technical defects as determined by our support team and does not apply to issues arising from misuse, physical damage, tampering, software incompatibility, voltage fluctuations, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
- All claims under the courtesy warranty are subject to evaluation and approval at our sole discretion. We may offer a repair, replacement, or store credit based on availability and nature of the issue. The decision made by BeaconBytes in each case will be final and binding.
4. Order Processing & Acceptance
- Receipt of an order confirmation email does not signify acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
- We reserve the right to accept or reject an order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
5. Shipping & Delivery
- We usually dispatch orders within 1–3 business days. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and third-party courier services.
- BeaconBytes is not liable for shipping delays or failures caused by logistical partners, weather conditions, or acts of nature.
- Shipping charges, if any, will be mentioned during the checkout process. In some cases, additional delivery charges may apply based on weight, volumetric size, or region.
6. Cancellations
- Customer-Initiated Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. If the order is already shipped, cancellation may not be possible, or may involve a cancellation fee of up to 5%.
- Company-Initiated Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to inventory issues, pricing errors, or suspicious activity. Any amount paid will be refunded in full.
7. Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted only if the product is received damaged, defective, or significantly different from the listing. Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery and must include photo/video evidence.
- Returned items must be unused, with original packaging, labels, and accessories. Returns not meeting these conditions may be refused.
- Refunds are initiated after inspection and may take up to 7–10 business days to reflect in your account.
- Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless otherwise specified.
8. Limitation of Liability
BeaconBytes.in will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:
- The use or inability to use the website or products
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any interruption, delay, or failure in service delivery beyond our control
Our total liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product purchased.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including product images, text, graphics, logos, and branding—is the property of BeaconBytes or its suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Chandigarh, India.
11. Policy Revisions
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.
